We Schedule the Inspection

Once I know the vehicle details, we pick a time that works for you. I work around your schedule — mornings, afternoons, weekdays, weekends. I confirm the appointment directly with you.

I Go To The Car

I travel to wherever the vehicle is parked — a dealership, a private seller's home, a car lot, wherever. You don't need to be there, but you're welcome to join. I perform the full inspection on-site.

I Inspect Every System

I run through the full 150-point condition inspection, plug in the OBD-II scanner to pull all fault codes (including recently erased ones), check for mileage discrepancies, and review the Carfax and service records if you've added those services.

Do I need to be present during the inspection?

No — you don't need to be there. I go to the car, do the inspection, and send you the full report. That said, you're always welcome to be present if you'd like.

What if the seller won't allow an inspection?

That's a red flag in itself. Any legitimate seller should have no problem with a pre-purchase inspection. If they refuse, I'd strongly recommend walking away.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I'm typically available within 1–2 days. If you're in a time-sensitive situation, text me directly and I'll do my best to accommodate you quickly.

What areas do you cover?

I serve the greater New Jersey area. Text me your location and I'll confirm whether I can reach the vehicle.

Can I use the report to negotiate the price?

Absolutely — that's one of the most common uses. A written report with documented findings gives you hard leverage to negotiate the price down or ask the seller to make repairs before closing.

What if you find serious problems?

I give you the straight truth. If the car has serious issues, I'll document them clearly and tell you exactly what they mean for reliability and cost. You decide what to do with that information — buy, negotiate, or walk away.
